It is equally important to be attentive and selective about people we share our body with. How does your body feel around that person? Remember, any emotion can be traced in your body if you quiet your mind and train your mindfulness.
Your senses can be your great guides too. actually most of the information about this or that person is gathered by our senses subconsciously. Do you feel like you expand or shrink when you are with that person? Does your body ooze happiness and lightness or heaviness, anxiety and doubts? Choose your body neighbors wisely. Get in touch with yourself and start learning how to trust your own body signals. One of my recent discoveries is a very weird anxious feeling i sense with some people at the beginning of our interaction. sometimes my intellectual voice shuts it down but as time passes I've started noticing that my body detector is almost always right. And as I find more and more proof about that first body "alarm" i start relying more on my body signals. Despite some physical magnetic attraction we might feel towards some people deep inside our body might whisper to us: "he/she ain't good for you". How often do you listen to that voice? How connected are you with your body signals? What do you do when you feel that wild physical connection towards someone but your senses get suddenly on alert and tell you that something isn't right? Do you trust or do you ignore them?
